Temu and Shein fought again! Shein sued Temu in the Supreme Court of Lond

The struggle between Temu and Shein escalated again.

According to foreign media reports, Shein has filed a lawsuit in the UK, accusing her competitor Temu of illegally stealing thousands of pictures from official website.

According to the documents submitted to the High Court of London in August, Shein said that it had “discovered thousands of cases”, and the sellers of Temu were suspected of stealing pictures from Shein platform to sell their products, thus causing unfair competition.

Shein is seeking an injunction to prevent Temu’s sellers from copying its list and ask them to delete all posts suspected of violating the rules. It also demanded compensation of at least 100,000 pounds from the Temu.

Due to the pending lawsuit, Shein declined to comment further, and Temu did not respond to the request for comment.

In July, Temu also launched a counterattack lawsuit in Boston Court, accusing Shein of unfair competition by threatening and intimidating China garment manufacturers that both sides rely on to sign exclusive agreements. Shein called Temu’s lawsuit in the United States “groundless”

Both Temu and Shein are e-commerce platforms in China, but because of their extremely similar business models, it is not surprising that Shein and Temu have to fight for each other. Both Temu and Shein sell extremely cheap products shipped from China, and western consumers, distressed by inflation, are eager for it. These two shopping apps ranked second and first in the United States and the United Kingdom, respectively, easily defeating Amazon, which once ranked first. It is reported that Amazon has fallen to the fourth and sixth places in the United States.
